Safeguarding

Worle Baptist Church welcomes everyone into the life of its community and, in so doing recognises its responsibilities in safeguarding all children, young people and adults at risk, regardless of gender, ethnicity or ability.

Members of this church have commited themselves to the nurturing, protection and safekeeping of all associated with the church and pray for them regularly. In pursuit of this, we have committed ourselves to our Safeguarding policy (available on the link below) and to the development of sound procedures to ensure it proper implementation.

All those working with children and adults at risk are required to apply for posts following our recruitment procedures which include obtaining satisfactory references and a DBS check.
