Sundays at Worle Baptist Church

Sunday Services  Our main Sunday service is at 10.30am and is now on Facebook Live. But before that at 9.30 on Facebook Live, Kath Needham leads a session of All-Age creative craft and worship, especially suitable for children and parents and carers looking for something to do and make with little ones!

In more normal times we typically begin with half an hour or so of worship that aims to engage all ages, in which we sing, pray and include activities and songs for the children. The children then go with their leaders to their own group (including a crèche if needed) while the adults remain for the sermon. Refreshments are served after the service giving opportunity for people to meet with each other. We endeavour to be a church where friendliness leads to friendships. Communion is celebrated once a month in the morning. For details of this Sunday's sermon title, click here.

A special focussed prayer gathering is held on the first Sunday of each month at 6pm when we meet to pray for a specific topic. But now, of course, this is faciitated from time to time by Zoom!

Children and Young People on a Sunday Morning

Sunday morning is great for children. Following our worship together, the children move into the back room for their own activities. Young people stay in for the full church service in the mornings. After the sermon the children come back into the main hall to show everyone what they have done.

Creche provides a safe environment for children up to school age to enjoy toys, play, have a drink and biscuit. The crèche is supervised on a rota basis to allow parents to leave their children with the leaders so that they can listen to the sermon. If your child is unhappy to be left in the crèche you can stay with them. For more information please contact the church office (01934 521642).
