BMS World Mission is active in many parts of the world. WBC has special links with Judy Cook in Thailand and Barnabas Hembrom in Bangladesh

Judy Cook is based in Chiang Mai in the north west of Thailand and works in several contexts with different marginalised groups of people. She has been involved in setting up and running Hope Home for children with severe disabilities, and has helped at Agape Home for children and parents living with Aids. She also works with The Church of Christ in Thailand Aids Ministry (CAM). Judy attends a Thai church and is encouraging the members to enjoy spending time with disabled children.

Peter and Louise Lynch gave an interview before heading off for Dhaka in April 2017. Their links with Worle Baptist Church are particularly close - Pete had been the pastor of the WBC for seventeen years. Peter and Louise served with BMS World Mission until September 2026, and Worle Baptist Church were are proud to be their 'sending church'. Whilst they are now back in the UK we continue to support the work that God has started through them.

WBC continue to prayerfully support this church which is situated in one of the more demanding parts of the city. In the past we have sent teams of adults and young people to work with the church on a mission week and supported gifts for the children at Christmas. Whilst we do not currently have people called to visit the church we are still closely linked and pray for them regurlarly.
